If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! PamD 20:43, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Pneumocandin Bo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I'm sure that there can be an article on this substance in future, but every article needs text: as it stands it is just not sufficient. Please add information about the subtance, and provide sources. Thanks. PamD 15:06, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've found a source, created a minimal stub article (ie one sentence) with source, and made redirects from various alternative names. But another time, please make sure that when you create an article you include at least one sentence of text to tell us what it's about and, preferably, a source. (If it's about a living person the source is compulsory and it will be deleted in 10 days if unsourced). PamD 15:22, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And I'm delighted to find that one of the redirects has turned what was previously a red link to blue - in Caspofungin#Semisynthesis there's a link to Pneumocandin B0. PamD 15:26, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
